Job Title: New Business Development Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (4 days onsite)
Compensation: $90,000–$95,000 base salary + performance-based bonus
Position Summary
The New Business Development Manager serves as the primary coordinator between sales, marketing, developer clients, and third-party partners for residential development projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution, tracking performance, facilitating communication across stakeholders, and ensuring initiatives remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of residential development projects from launch through sellout.
- Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and ongoing performance metrics.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, pricing reviews, and absorption reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare project updates, sales reports, market analyses, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee project-related materials, websites, listings, and collateral to ensure information remains accurate and current.
- Manage MLS listings, inventory updates, pricing changes, and listing coordination across active developments.
- Coordinate vendors, including photographers, designers, staging partners, and other consultants involved in project execution.
- Support budgeting, operational planning, and administrative activities related to development projects.
- Identify process improvements and help drive efficient collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in real estate, project management, new development, operations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of residential real estate and new development projects.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, MLS systems, and project management tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
