We're recruiting on behalf of a confidential client - a major Aerospace & Defense manufacturing organization - for a Senior SAP S/4

HANA Controlling Architect to join a large-scale transformation program.

This is not a traditional SAP Finance leadership position. The client is specifically looking for a senior SAP CO architect who can act as an independent design authority - reviewing and challenging systems integrator design decisions where needed, and helping shape the long‑term S/4

HANA roadmap.

This role is anchored on two core pillars:

• CCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, CO-PA
• Multiple SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations, ideally in an architect or design-authority capacity

• Practical, hands‑on experience configuring and running GPD in a live S/4
  
  HANA environment
• Working command of PMMO (multiple valuation views on project manufacturing)
• Non‑valuated (project) stock experience - set‑up, validation, and reconciliation against project and production structures
• Ability to validate that CO, project systems, and inventory postings stay correctly pegged and distributed across MTO/ETO structures

These are essential, not preferred - candidates without hands‑on GPD/PMMO experience are unlikely to be considered.

• Aerospace & Defense manufacturing experience
• Strong Make‑to‑Order (MTO) and Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) process knowledge
• Project manufacturing environments
• Comfortable engaging with senior business and executive stakeholders
• Background in complex A&D organizations where finance, manufacturing, project systems and inventory are tightly integrated
