RGM – Strategic Pricing Manager
Lead revenue growth management (RGM) analytics and strategic recommendations for the assigned branded business, focusing on pricing, mix management, pack & price architecture, and gross‑to‑net optimization to drive annual net sales value.
Responsibilities- Identify, compile analysis, and drive rapid decision‑making of RGM opportunities across price, mix, pack‑price architecture, and gross‑to‑net levers.
- Deliver current‑year RGM business objectives, including gap closure and contingency planning.
- Maintain a 3+ year pipeline of RGM initiatives that generate sustainable operating‑profit growth.
- Lead price‑strategy projects supported by category, competitor, customer, and consumer analytics.
- Understand channel‑pricing relationships and develop solutions to reduce channel conflict.
- Shape and deliver the brand’s price‑strategy principles: suggested retail pricing (e.g., SRP, EDLP, promoted pricing), promotion strategy by brand (depth, frequency, duration, promoted partners), list‑price & trade structures, and discount curves.
- Provide pricing insights and recommendations as a cross‑functional member of brand innovation.
- Partner with sales to identify and remove executional barriers before deploying price strategy or RGM initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or another quantitative discipline; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sustained performance in multi‑category CPG companies or RGM consulting, with proven success across multiple retail channels (brick‑and‑mortar and omni‑channel).
- Experience in retail sales with a record of successful customer sell‑in and influence.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to outline approach and establish the necessary fact‑base for business problems.
- Strategic thinking: conceptual skills and basic understanding of marketing strategies and market research.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to influence senior leaders and simplify complex data narratives.
- Leadership and project‑management skills: manage small to medium‑sized projects across functions to deliver results.
Competitive base salary in the range of USD
116,380–143,740 per year, with eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite that includes a 401(k) plan, profit sharing, health, dental, vision, and more. A flexible work model blends remote and in‑office collaboration.
Location:
Chicago Commercial Center (United States only, full‑time employee). Relocation support not provided.
