Sr. Director of Demand Gen Direct Enterprise
Join Aeris as we scale our enterprise demand generation strategy for one of the fastest-growing segments in IoT connectivity. You'll own enterprise pipeline for a fast-scaling IoT SaaS connectivity platform, building our ABM motion and GTM strategy with AI-first tools rather than fighting legacy processes. This role puts you at the center of translating broad positioning into measurable demand that our enterprise Sales team can close, covering both net new opportunities and strategic upsells with current connectivity customers.
You'll lead the charge in developing vertical-specific approaches for Transportation/Logistics, Retail, and Healthcare—moving beyond one-size-fits-all messaging to targeted strategies that resonate with distinct enterprise buying committees.
Pipeline Ownership & Strategy
- Own marketing-sourced pipeline targets for Direct Sales/IoT Watchtower
- Develop and execute ABM campaigns targeting named enterprise accounts
- Build vertical-specific demand generation strategies for key industry segments
- Partner with enterprise Sales to align on account prioritization and messaging
Team Leadership & Execution
- Manage and develop a demand generation team of 4 FTE plus external agency relationships
- Coach team on ABM execution and enterprise marketing best practices
- Organize and execute lead generation events and enterprise marketing programs
- Foster collaboration across Sales, Product Marketing, Communications, and Creative teams
Analytics & Optimization
- Own funnel metrics including MQL→SQL→Opportunity conversion rates
- Diagnose pipeline performance and course-correct strategies under pressure
- Ensure attribution accuracy and Rev Ops alignment for reliable forecasting
- Track ABM account engagement and coverage across target enterprise segments
AI-First Operations
- Leverage AI tools daily for prospect research, content personalization, and reporting
- Scale pipeline creation through AI-enhanced workflows and automation
- Drive adoption of AI-first operating models across the demand generation function
- Progressive B2B demand generation experience in tech/SaaS environments
- Proven track record owning and delivering on pipeline revenue targets in scaled SaaS/platform businesses
- Deep, hands-on experience with account-based marketing strategy and execution
- Strong analytical capabilities for funnel diagnosis and performance optimization
- Experience managing and developing demand generation teams in player-coach capacity
- Proficiency with core martech stack including Hub Spot, Salesforce, Outreach, and Asana
- AI-first approach to demand generation with experience building and directing AI-enhanced workflows

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may also be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The salary range for this role is $185,000 - $225,000. Aeris also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
