Position Summary

The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of client accounts while delivering high-impact safety consulting services. This role operates with a high level of autonomy, ensuring exceptional client outcomes while driving business growth within their region.

The Regional Safety Manager is accountable for client retention, service expansion, and new business development, serving as a strategic partner to clients and a key contributor to the company’s overall growth.

Key Responsibilities Client Ownership & Delivery
  • Own the performance, quality, and outcomes of all assigned client accounts
  • Deliver high-level safety consulting services, including audits, training, and incident response
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with company standards
Client Relationship & Retention
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key clients
  • Build long-term, trust-based partnerships
  • Proactively address client needs, risks, and opportunities
Business Development & Growth
  • Drive growth within existing accounts through expanded services
  • Generate new business through relationships, referrals, and industry engagement
  • Execute regional growth strategies and contribute to overall company revenue goals
Autonomy & Strategic Contribution
  • Operate independently in managing priorities, clients, and workload
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the region
  • Provide insight and feedback to leadership to improve services and strategy

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in safety leadership or consulting
  • Proven experience leading complex safety programs across multiple industries or environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety best practices
  • Deep expertise in OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety requirements
  • OSHA 500/501 certification preferred
  • MSHA certification preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with standard business software tools
