job summary

under the direction of departmental managers, perform detailed investigation and analysis of operational systems and procedures, program and organizational structures and policies to ascertain fiscal, technical, administrative or other problems. Assists in drafting and implementing policies, procedures and other system enhancements resulting in improved productivity and workflow. Supervises and provides technical assistance to support staff in preparation of documents, reports and procedures.

Performs specialized analysis of a fiscal or technical nature utilizing statistical
methods and advanced software applications. Coordinates the collection and preparation of operating reports such as budget expenditures, time and attendance records and statistical records of performance. Prepare comprehensive reports including conclusions and recommendations for solutions to administrative problems. Performs other duties as assigned.

minimum qualifications
  • possession of a high school diploma or general education development test (g.e.d.) certificate supplemented with six (6) years of experience in process workflow and fiscal management is required or
  • graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, industrial management, or systems management, supplemented with two (2) years of experience in process workflow and fiscal management, is required.

* degrees awarded outside of the united states, with the exception of those awarded in one of the united states territories and canada, must be credentialed by the world education services (wes), educational credential evaluators (ece), or a national association of credential evaluation (naces) member organization.

  • ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, and work both independently and in a team environment.
  • ability to utilize management systems and ability to multi-task while performing routine assignments.
  • ability to assume responsibility for completeness and accuracy of assigned projects and exercise initiative and good judgment.
physical requirements

sedentary work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
