Team Overview
The Sales Effectiveness & Experience (SEE) team serves as a strategic partner to the sales organization by delivering impactful communications, learning programs, change management initiatives, and engagement experiences. Through cross-functional collaboration, the team ensures sellers have the information, tools, and support needed to drive business growth.
This role reports directly to Vice President within the Sales Operations division.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously optimize a centralized Sales Communications Tower and intake process that prioritize requests and establishes clear standards for message eligibility, urgency, audience segmentation, and approvals.
- Serve as the central coordination point for Sales communications, preventing message overlap, conflicting priorities, and communication fatigue while ensuring the right messages reach the right audiences through the right channels at the right time.
- Define and document channel standards across email, Microsoft Teams, town halls, enablement platforms, and leader cascades, including intended audience, purpose, expected action, and reinforcement approach.
- Create and maintain an integrated Sales Communications Calendar covering product launches, program updates, leadership messages, operational communications, enablement, and sales training; sequence and space messages to support seller priorities.
- Write, edit, and package clear, concise, sales-ready communications, including executive announcements, program and process updates, launch communications, talking points, and leader cascades.
- Translate complex initiatives into compelling, audience-specific messaging that clearly explains what is changing, why it matters, and what sellers need to do.
- Partner with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Product, Operations, and HR; advise leaders and project teams on communication planning, timing, message clarity, and potential risks.
- Define and present success measures for engagement, comprehension, and actionability; gather seller and leader feedback, analyze results, and recommend what should be simplified, consolidated, reinforced, or retired.
- 8+ years of experience in communications, sales enablement, internal communications, or a related field, with demonstrated success supporting business or sales audiences.
- Strong understanding of sales organizations, seller workflows, and go-to-market dynamics, used to develop relevant messages and practical communication strategies.
- Exceptional English writing and editing skills, including the ability to tailor positioning and content for specific audiences and translate complex material into accurate, compelling, digestible communications.
- Proven ability to design governance processes and frameworks, manage competing priorities, and deliver multiple projects in fast-paced, ambiguous, matrixed environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and drive alignment across leaders and cross-functional partners without direct authority.
- Proficiency developing and editing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for leadership and sales audiences.
- Working knowledge of enterprise communication channels, including email, Microsoft Teams, town halls, enablement platforms, and leader cascades, with the ability to select channels based on audience, purpose, and timing.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present communication and engagement data and qualitative feedback to multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to use communication calendars, intake workflows, and governance tools to manage cadence, approvals, prioritization, and message sequencing.
