  • Develop and analyze financial models, valuations, commercial assessments, and investment scenarios to support transaction structuring, pricing, and investment decisions
  • Manage transaction processes from initial assessment through closing, coordinating cross-functional internal teams and external advisors while driving key project milestones
  • Lead commercial negotiations and due diligence efforts, identifying risks, opportunities, and value drivers while securing favorable contractual and financial terms
  • Prepare executive-level investment memoranda, presentations, and governance materials that support internal approvals and strategic decision-making
  • Support the growth of ENGIE's development pipeline by evaluating greenfield development opportunities, market expansion strategies, and emerging technology investments across wholesale power markets
  • Design and enhance analytical tools, dashboards, reporting processes, and workflow solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency across Business Development and M&A activities
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience within the energy industry, including renewable energy development, business development, project acquisitions, project finance, investment banking, energy trading, consulting, utilities, or independent power producers (IPPs)
  • Experience leading or supporting complex M&A, investment, development, or strategic transactions within the energy sector
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience evaluating investment opportunities and developing actionable business recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop polished, executive-ready analyses, presentations, and investment materials; experience with Power BI, Think-Cell, or similar tools is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex market, commercial, and financial information, identify key risks and opportunities, and recommend strategic paths forward
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong ownership, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of driving innovation and scalable business solutions
