As companies respond to the requirements for rapidly growing demand, increased reliability, and improved resilience, they need to balance initiatives against energy costs and customer affordability. As AI-driven data centers surge in energy demand and new policies reshape the landscape, utilities face a complex and evolving environment.

- Contributing to innovative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clients, leveraging cutting-edge methodologies and tools.
- Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to support project recommendations and solutions, inform strategic decisions, and develop actionable insights. This may include data collection, market research and analysis, benchmarking, and economic modeling.
- Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions that align with client goals.
- Applicants must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
- Minimum Degree Status:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program graduating between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028 - Ability to accommodate an expected Summer 2027 start date-
- Minimum Years of
Experience:
0 years - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity about the energy industry and a desire to make a tangible impact through consulting work
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines
- Ability to work onsite in a core Guidehouse Office or Client Office location
- Degree/Majors in Engineering (Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical), Energy, Environmental Policy Data Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- R, SQL, Analytica
