Title: Next Gen Intern (Fall/Spring 2026/27)

Location: Miamisburg Ohio (Onsite)
Program Type: Paid Internship
Eligibility: Undergraduate & Graduate Students (Ohio-based)

The United Wheels Next Gen Program is a paid, educational internship experience designed to develop the next generation of talent across business, technology, and innovation. Through this program, Ohio based undergraduate and graduate students will gain hands-on, real-world experience while learning how United Wheels operates as a modern, data-driven business. Interns will be embedded within teams and exposed to key areas such as:

• Business operations and strategy
• Technology and systems integration
• Data analytics and AI applications
• Marketing, brand, and digital experience
• Human resources and people analytics
• Product, design, and customer insights

• Work on meaningful projects tied to real business outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Receive guidance from both an Intern Leader and Mentor
• Build professional skills in a structured, supportive environment
• Internship tracks are aligned to key functional areas of the business, allowing candidates to focus on their career interests while gaining broad exposure

• Hands-on experience working on real business challenges
• Exposure to how a company integrates technology, data, and operations
• Mentorship and professional development
• Opportunity to build your network and career pathway
• A paid, structured internship experience

The Next Gen Internship Program is delivered in collaboration with the Ohio College Technology Internship Program (CTIP), administered by the State of Ohio. As part of this partnership, candidates will complete a dual application process: (Both applications are required for full consideration)

• Apply directly through United Wheels
• Apply through the State of Ohio CTIP platform

During the application process, candidates will be asked to select their preferred track(s):

• Finance / Accounting
• Business Analytics / Data / AI
• Digital Marketing / Brand Design
• Software Engineering / Web Development
• Operations / Supply Chain / SIOP
• Human Resources / People Analytics

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the state of Ohio
• Interest in one or more of the listed internship tracks
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
