Allwyn is a multinational lottery operator with leading market positions in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Our primary focus is lotteries, which help raise money for good causes. We drive innovation, efficiency, and responsible gaming.

Allwyn North America is headquartered in Chicago. We currently operate the Illinois Lottery under a private management agreement while seeking other opportunities throughout the U.S. We also provide products and services to lotteries and their players throughout Europe and the U.S.

The Commercial Strategy Manager will report to the Director of Commercial Strategy and serve as the analytical and operational engine of the department. This role is responsible for project-managing proposal development for key contracts, conducting rigorous financial and market analysis, tracking organizational KPIs, gathering actionable consumer insights, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement, and communicating business performance and opportunities to senior leadership, the Shareholder, and the Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating raw data into compelling strategic narratives that drive growth.

• Manage the day-to-day project lifecycle for State Lottery RFPs and government proposals, ensuring seamless coordination across internal stakeholders, SMEs, and external partners.
• Conduct exhaustive competitive landscape analysis and market trend research to directly support the Director in formulating highly targeted win strategies.
• Develop win strategies, business cases, and financial models to support new business pursuits.
• Draft, review, and refine critical proposal components, ensuring the messaging aligns with the overarching commercial strategy and compliance requirements.
• Maintain an organized repository of proposal assets, market intelligence, and competitor profiles for rapid deployment in fast-moving bid environments.

• Build, maintain, and stress-test complex financial models to support organic new business pursuits, revenue forecasting, contract pricing, and ROI projections.
• Prepare detailed business cases and presentations, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections and strategic considerations.
• Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses and operational financial modeling to evaluate the viability of regional market expansions and product launches.
• Assist the Director in providing localized financial analysis, data aggregation, and regional modeling support to the overseas Corporate Development team for M&A and partnership evaluations.

• Build, maintain, and automate dynamic dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to monitor KPIs and OKRs across the business development and commercial Strategy portfolio.
• Monitor baseline performance metrics daily/weekly, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, flagging risks, and making data-backed recommendations.
• Design and produce clear, compelling charts, graphs, and other materials for communicating business performance and opportunities to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

• Aggregate, clean, and analyze consumer research, retail sales databases, and external market trends to uncover hidden revenue opportunities.
• Assist in proactive data mining and market research to support the Director's and SVP of Business Development’s efforts in player segmentation, portfolio strategy, and product innovation.
