Business Operations Manager | Founder’s Office Remote | Part-Time | About the Company

Our client is an entrepreneur-led business group managing multiple businesses and exploring new ventures, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.

The founder is looking for a highly autonomous and analytical Business Operations Manager who can act as a right-hand business operator across a variety of strategic and operational projects.

The role will involve researching new business opportunities, evaluating potential acquisitions, investigating markets and suppliers, coordinating with external stakeholders, and turning complex information into clear insights and actionable next steps.

The ideal candidate is someone who can receive a high-level business idea or question and independently figure out what needs to be researched, who needs to be contacted, what information needs to be collected, and how the findings should be analyzed and presented.

You will work directly with the founder across multiple businesses and new ventures, supporting everything from initial opportunity research and due diligence to supplier sourcing, business analysis, and operational execution.

• Research new business ideas, markets, products, services, and potential investment opportunities.
• Break down ambiguous business questions into structured research areas and actionable steps.
• Analyze markets, competitors, pricing, costs, suppliers, and operational requirements.
• Gather information from credible sources and verify important findings.
• Prepare concise reports summarizing key facts, opportunities, risks, and available options.
• Support evidence-based business decisions through research and analysis.
• Assist with the evaluation of potential business and franchise acquisitions.
• Communicate directly with brokers, sellers, franchise representatives, suppliers, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
• Collect and organize financial, operational, contractual, and business documentation for due diligence.
• Track outstanding documents, questions, follow-ups, and next steps throughout projects.
• Identify potential risks, information gaps, and issues requiring additional investigation.
• Research and identify potential suppliers, vendors, partners, and service providers.
• Contact vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, terms, capabilities, minimum orders, lead times, and other relevant information.
• Compare different options and help determine the most viable alternatives based on available information.
• Support the launch and early operational stages of new ventures.
• Turn verbal discussions and high-level ideas into structured action plans.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and external stakeholders simultaneously.
• Create processes and systems that improve operational efficiency.
• Provide ongoing operational and strategic support across the founder's businesses.
• Use AI and modern research tools to improve efficiency while independently verifying important information.
