The Role:

We are looking for an experienced, execution-focused Chief of Staff to drive business operations across Shufti.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own the operational rhythm of the company: running day-to-

day operations, turning strategy into executable plans, and working hand in hand with leaders across

Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Compliance, Finance, Marketing and HR to make sure the

business runs efficiently and hits its goals. This is a fully remote role for a US-based leader.

Key Responsibilities 1. Business Operations Leadership
  • Own and manage end-to-end business operations across all departments, ensuring teams are aligned,

resourced and delivering.

  • Oversee daily operational performance, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve speed,

quality and cost.

  • Design, document and continuously improve operating processes, workflows and SOPs across the company.

  • Make and drive operational decisions with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.

2. Strategy & Execution
  • Translate company strategy into clear annual and quarterly plans, OKRs and measurable targets for each department.

  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects from concept to delivery, including new market entry,partnerships and operational scaling.

  • Track progress against goals, flag risks early and hold teams accountable for outcomes.

  • Support the planning and execution of budgets, forecasts and resource allocation with Finance.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the central connection point between departments, removing silos and driving alignment on priorities.

  • Partner with department heads to resolve cross-team dependencies, conflicts and escalations.

  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, the Board, investors,partners and vendors.

  • Represent operations in leadership forums and communicate decisions and priorities clearly across the organization.

4. Operating Cadence & Governance
  • Own the company operating cadence: leadership meetings, weekly business reviews, quarterly business reviews and planning cycles.

  • Prepare leadership and Board materials, business updates and performance reports.

  • Establish governance, decision-making frameworks and clear ownership (RACI) across functions.

  • Ensure follow-through on decisions and action items across the leadership team.

5. Performance Metrics & Business Intelligence
  • Define and monitor company-wide KPIs and operational dashboards covering revenue, delivery, customer, and efficiency metrics.

  • Analyze data to uncover trends, surface insights and recommend actions to leadership.

  • Build reporting that gives every department visibility into performance and progress.

6. Vendor, Systems & Process Excellence
  • Manage key vendor and partner relationships, contracts and service levels.

  • Evaluate and implement operational tools and systems that help the company scale.

  • Drive operational compliance and risk management in partnership with Legal, Compliance and Security, in line with a regulated industry.

7. People & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Partner with HR on organizational design, workforce planning and headcount prioritization.

  • Support leadership hiring and onboarding of senior team members.

  • Foster a high-performance, remote-first culture built on ownership, transparency and collaboration.

What You Bring
  • 10 years of experience in business operations, strategy, management consulting or general management, including 4 years in a senior operations leadership role.

  • Proven experience running operations across multiple functions in a high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech or Reg Tech company.

  • Track record of translating strategy into execution and delivering measurable results.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with C-suite executives and Boards.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; comfortable with KPIs, budgets, forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
