Foster Care Case Worker

Overview

A full‑time Case Worker position is available in the Family-Based Services Program to provide services for children and families in our foster care program. The Case Worker’s responsibilities include but are not limited to assessing, planning, and implementing recommended services, preparing written reports and service plans, and testifying in Juvenile Court.

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field required.
• Previous experience in a child welfare agency is preferred.
• Child Welfare Licensure preferred.
• Must have a valid IL Driver’s License to do home visits in various communities.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies.
• Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
