Wellness Center - Front Desk Receptionist​/Kids Club Attendant; Part-time​/Evenings​/Weekends

Position Summary

The Kid’s Club Attendant is responsible for providing childcare services in a caring, safe, secure and effective manner with age-appropriate interactions, play activities, and experiences for children within the determined age range.

• Greet members and children in a positive manner, monitor policies for entry and exit of individuals in the Kid’s Club area to ensure safety of all children in attendance.
• Lead daily activities to entertain children such as craft projects, games, toys, etc. that are age appropriate.
• Be knowledgeable of all policies and ensure adherence to those policies at all times.
• Create a positive, safe and comfortable space for parents and children.
• Be receptive to feedback from parents including questions and concerns; appropriate follow up with supervisor for support as needed.
• Lift and carry infants and toddlers as required to complete job duties.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate Wellness Center hours and member needs.
• Complete knowledge of all emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Represent Humboldt Park Health in a positive and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrate exceptional listening and customer service skills; be social, outgoing, and friendly.
• Maintain composure and act appropriately in moments when multiple unexpected challenges arise concurrently.
• Computer proficiency as it relates to the job.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
