This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chicago, IL, for a Construction Foreman. In this role, you will oversee and manage daily construction activities for urban garden and rooftop space projects. Responsibilities include supervising construction teams, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met, maintaining a safe work environment, and collaborating closely with design and maintenance teams to execute plans effectively.

The Construction Foreman will also liaise with clients to address concerns and provide progress updates.

• Experience in construction site supervision, team coordination, and project management
• Technical skills in landscape construction, carpentry, hardscaping, and operating relevant equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations within the construction industry
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and engage with clients
• Physical ability to perform outdoor and physical work in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Previous experience in residential or urban landscaping is preferred
