Construction Recruitment Consultant | Mission Critical | Industrial | CommercialA nationally ranked general contractor is hiring an Estimator to support preconstruction and estimating efforts on large-scale commercial, data center, and industrial projects. This role is ideal for a detail-driven builder who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong foundation in quantity takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates
- Lead quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and bid comparisons
- Interface with owners, architects, and engineers during design
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Participate in value engineering and budget reconciliation efforts
- Support handoff to project teams and update historical cost data
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial estimating
- Strong ability to read plans and specs across all disciplines
- Familiar with tools like OST, Assemble, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills
