We’re seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for complex commercial projects, with a strong emphasis on MEP coordination, building enclosures, site logistics, safety, and quality control. This role is responsible for driving schedule execution, supervising trades, coordinating inspections, and ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project documents and municipal requirements.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and mentor on-site personnel and trade partners
- Maintain jobsite logistics, security, and safety
- Serve as the on-site company representative when acting as project lead
- Foster productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Assist in developing and maintaining the master construction schedule
- Manage daily sequencing of work, subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and manpower
- Prepare weekly 3-week look-ahead schedules and monitor progress against plan
- Coordinate deviations from schedule with the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager
- Enforce company safety policies and site-specific safety plans
- Lead weekly Trade Foremen Safety & Coordination meetings
- Maintain signage, housekeeping standards, and compliance with OSHA requirements
- Support and respond to jobsite safety inspections
- Review construction documents for buildability and sequencing
- Implement and manage the project Quality Control / QA program
- Coordinate testing agencies, inspections, and documentation
- Perform pre-punch inspections and support final punchlist completion
- Ensure permits and approvals are in place and maintained
- Coordinate and attend inspections in line with project schedule
- Maintain constructive relationships with inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction
- Secure final approvals and occupancy permits
- Maintain accurate daily logs in Procore
- Confirm current drawings and submittals are in use on site
- Review subcontract scopes, field directives, RFIs, and change orders
- Communicate percent complete for billing and subcontractor payouts
- Ensure timecards, documentation, and jobsite records are accurate and timely
- Complete punchlist items and support project close-out meetings
- Assist with warranties, O&M manuals, lien waivers, and as-built documentation
- Support final billing and subcontract close-out
- 8–15 years of experience supervising construction trades
- 25+ million in multi-family ground-up experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Design, or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to lead complex, fast-paced projects
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-Hour certification
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented leadership style
