Job DescriptionPlans, manages, and oversees multiple small to medium size construction projects or a single large project. Coordinates and controls all construction management activities and site operations, including field oversight, scheduling, documentation, and claims administration. Interprets plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and other field personnel. Primary interface with client and contractor including responsible for standing meetings and required reporting. Provides internal consultation to construction representatives and serves as a technical resource to other function groups within the group.
Coordinates and disseminates shop drawings to project stakeholders, as necessary. Reviews government and funding agency regulations to provide consultative services that reflect an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of legal requirements. Working with sales staff and project managers, contributes to the development of new opportunities for business through proposal preparation and general contact with current and potential clients. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree. 8 years of relevant experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working on water and sewer infrastructure projects, including water purification plants, pump stations, and related facilities.
Key SkillsAdvanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. Knowledge of construction products, details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. Demonstrates developing leadership skills to develop and grow staff. Excellent time and project management skills. Proven ability to analyze, problem-solve and mitigate risks.
