Responsibilities:
* Plant Construction PM will lead and manage plant construction and capital improvement projects from planning and requirements definition through execution, commissioning, and closeout
* Develop and execute project plans aligned with business objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and quality requirements
* Manage contractor and vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance to ensure cost control, schedule adherence, and quality execution
* Oversee construction activities onsite, coordinating closely with engineering, operations, EHS, and facilities teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
* Establish and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls;
Track performance and communicate risks, changes, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
* Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization through competitive bidding, value engineering, and disciplined change management
* Ensure compliance with corporate policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
* As a Plant Construction PM, you will monitor construction progress, resolve field issues, and proactively address schedule, cost, or resource constraints
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution efficiency, standardize best practices, and improve contractor performance
* Analyze market conditions, labor availability, material pricing, and construction trends to mitigate risk and maintain continuity of project execution
* Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and controls throughout the project lifecycle
* Serve as the primary onsite project lead, coordinating daily activities with plant leadership and construction partners
* Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Materials Management, or related field preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or operational leadership roles
* Strong knowledge of purchasing, price risk management, and supply chain principles
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to food products
* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven negotiation skills at the mid-management level
* Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and decision-making skills
* Plant construction or plant engineering background required
* Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels
