Overview
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor progress and performance, addressing challenges and implementing solutions effectively.
- Ensure strong communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and achievements.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor and control project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and progress adherence.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Preferred 7 years of experience, including ground-up construction projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience in healthcare or K-12 construction projects is a plus.
