Construction Safety Manager 5 – Microsoft Corporation | Granger, IN
Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager 5. You will be part of the Construction Safety / EHS team supporting contractors and subcontractors on active construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership without authority, and the ability to influence field teams.
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager5
Location: Granger, Indiana (Onsite)
Pay Range: $77.71 – $83.70/hour
- Provide on-site safety oversight of contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project standards
- Review contractor safety plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and method statements for compliance
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and enforce corrective actions
- Monitor high-risk activities such as electrical work, crane operations, confined space entry, and excavation
- Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and report safety performance metrics to leadership
- 10+ years of construction safety experience in large-scale construction environments
- CSP, CHST, or equivalent safety certification or construction management degree/experience
- Strong background in construction safety with exposure to data center or electrical‑heavy projects
- Proven ability to influence teams and enforce compliance without direct authority
- Excellent communication, documentation, and risk mitigation skills
- Data center construction experience
