Position: Traveling Construction Superintendent (USACE/NAVFAC Projects)

Location:

Nationwide (Travel Required)
Travel: 100%

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to support federal construction projects across the U.S., primarily with USACE and NAVFAC contracts. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can step into active projects, maintain momentum, and ensure full compliance with federal standards while managing field operations from start to finish.

You will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality projects on schedule, while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality control, and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all on‑site construction activities for federal projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient execution
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and daily reporting
  • Ensure compliance with USACE/NAVFAC standards and project specifications
  • Enforce EM 385‑1‑1 safety regulations and site safety protocols
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Project Management teams to maintain compliance and performance
  • Conduct site inspections, manage RFIs, and support project closeout processes
  • Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for project execution
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience on federal construction projects valued at $20M or more
  • Proven experience working on USACE and/or NAVFAC projects
  • Active CQM‑C Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors)
  • Strong knowledge of EM 385‑1‑1 safety requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage field operations on complex, multi‑phase projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to mobilize quickly and adapt to different project sites nationwide
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S.
