This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of multifamily construction projects, ranging from luxury high-rises to affordable housing units. The role focuses on ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion, with opportunities for growth within the organization and the broader construction industry.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedule, budget, and resources needed to meet objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related issues and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to meet project goals.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements while managing projects.
- Contribute to risk management, including identification, analysis, and mitigation of potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily housing projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and standard office software (MS Office, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is a plus.
