Join a well‑capitalized Chicagoland GC where estimators are involved early, trusted in decision‑making, and supported by strong operations and leadership. This Jobot Job is hosted by:
Don Seawall. Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.

We are a well‑established Chicagoland General Contractor delivering a mix of ground‑up and complex renovation projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and mixed‑use markets. Our success is built on disciplined preconstruction, strong subcontractor relationships, and accurate, realistic estimating that sets projects up for success.

Estimators here are not isolated from the field — they work closely with operations, project managers, and leadership to ensure clean handoffs, tight scopes, and competitive bids. We value accuracy, transparency, and collaboration over volume bidding.

• Estimator‑driven culture:

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
• Experience with commercial construction (ground‑up and/or renovation)
• Strong understanding of scopes, assemblies, and subcontractor trades
• Ability to prepare conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates
• Experience with subcontractor solicitation, leveling, and scope review
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
