We are looking for a Project Manager to come on board in our downtown Chicago office. We are highly focused on culture fit and bringing on individuals who are willing to learn.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about the construction industry and wants to make a significant impact on the development of our projects. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with a team of professionals, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on a daily basis.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction management or a related field OR a degree in construction/civil engineering.
- AutoCAD experience is a must.
- Do NOT need prior Project Management experience – just construction knowledge from either your degree or experience.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
- A team player with strong leadership abilities.
