Position:
Project Manager

Location: Chicagoland office, HQ in Elgin, IL

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Chicagoland office. The Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of project management efficiently and effectively, ensuring successful project execution from inception to completion.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage projects efficiently, effectively, and confidently, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deliver formal presentations as required.
  • Resolve issues with a win-win outcome in mind, leveraging strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
  • Show a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee construction activities from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Handle estimating, contract management, change orders, and punch-out lists.
  • Manage scheduling (ideally using P6), construction means and methods, cost control, payment processes, and closeouts.
  • Handle submittals and develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures.
  • Communicate organizational information to customers or other stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred, but experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
  • Previous project management experience with reputable construction companies.
  • Experience in pump stations, wastewater treatment, and vertical construction is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in heavy construction (bridges, CTA/Metra work, highways, etc.).
  • Proficiency in cost estimating.
  • Experience using Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, Viewpoint, and P6.
  • Proven team-building and leadership/management skills.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
