Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 + bonus + full benefits
We’re working with a rapidly growing infrastructure contractor delivering critical water and wastewater rehabilitation projects across the US. With significant investment, expanding project pipelines, and long‑term municipal frameworks in place, they’re looking to bring in a Project Manager to help drive delivery across their Chicago operations.
This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be leading complex, high‑value infrastructure projects that directly impact communities, from ageing sewer systems to large‑scale rehabilitation programmes.
What you’ll be doing :- Managing full lifecycle delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure projects (planning through to close‑out)
- Overseeing trenchless rehabilitation works including CIPP, pipe bursting, and manhole rehab
- Acting as the key point of contact for municipalities, engineers, and internal teams
- Driving programme schedules, budgets, and commercial performance
- Leading project teams across field and office functions
- Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all project phases
- Experience delivering water/wastewater or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of underground utilities, ideally within trenchless or rehab environments
- Proven ability managing multiple projects and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets and project performance
- Background as a Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or similar
- Backed by a major infrastructure platform with aggressive growth plans
- Strong pipeline of secured municipal work (not reliant on one‑off bids)
- Exposure to technically interesting projects in a niche, high‑demand sector
- Clear progression into senior leadership as the business continues to scale
- Collaborative, delivery‑focused culture with real autonomy
