John Burns Construction is looking for a dedicated Safety Engineer to join our team and help drive our commitment to safety excellence across our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and enforce project-specific safety programs and policies
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits
- Lead safety training and toolbox talks
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and client safety requirements
- Partner with field operations to identify and mitigate hazards before incidents occur
- Experience - 3 - 5 years’ experience in a construction environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Background in electrical safety and electrical construction environments preferred
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams to promote a proactive safety culture
