Senior Project Manager – Cold Storage / Food & Beverage

We are a well‑established, high‑ranked general contractor in the Chicagoland area, seeking a senior project manager with experience in cold storage, food processing, or beverage projects. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year.

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
• Manage planning, design, and construction of cold storage facilities.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, construction and building specialists.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, and ensure technical feasibility.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Identify and manage potential risks or obstacles.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and challenges.

• Minimum 8 years of construction experience, including large‑scale food processing or ground‑up construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Deep understanding of construction industry processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with project management software tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
