Project Manager – Retail Interiors & Renovations

Location: Chicago Suburbs, IL (On-Site)

Our client is a well-established general contractor specializing in high-end retail tenant improvements and renovation projects for nationally recognized brands. Due to continued growth and a strong backlog of work, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team.

• Manage multiple retail tenant improvement and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution plans.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Negotiate and award subcontracts while managing procurement activities.
• Monitor project costs, forecast budgets, and ensure financial performance.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to clients and internal leadership.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Foster strong client relationships that lead to repeat business.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing retail tenant improvement, renovation, and interior fit-out projects
  .
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
