1. 2. Core Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations for fire protection system installations, service, inspections, and maintenance contracts.
- Manage field teams, subcontractors, and project supervisors to ensure quality and timely project completion.
- Collaborate with Estimating during project turnover to ensure accurate scope execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
- Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and material usage to protect project margins.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, NFPA standards, and local code requirements.
- Resolve operational challenges, site conflicts, and client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Improve internal processes to increase efficiency and reduce delays or rework.
- Track operational KPIs and report performance metrics to Leadership.
- Support scaling efforts by building systems, SOPs, and operational structure for growth.
- Maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, inspectors, and clients.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction operations, project management, and fire protection systems.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, alarms, suppression systems, inspections, and code compliance.
- Experience managing field crews and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and reporting systems.
- Experience in commercial fire protection operations.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and local inspection requirements.
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or life-safety systems.
- OSHA certification or safety leadership training.
