Project Manager - Commercial Glass

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while coordinating with customers, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial glass and aluminum projects from award through completion. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while coordinating with customers, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams.

• Manage commercial glazing projects from contract award through project closeout.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate the fabrication, procurement, and installation of storefront, curtain wall, window wall, entrances, interior glazing, all-glass systems, mirrors, railings, and specialty glazing systems.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, material releases, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, fabrication teams, and field installers to maintain project schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, labor, and material costs to help ensure profitable project execution.
• Conduct project meetings, resolve field issues, and provide timely communication to all project stakeholders.
• Review field measurements, fabrication drawings, and installation details prior to material release.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards.

• Minimum 3–5 years of Project Management experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum storefront, curtain wall, window wall, entrances, interior glazing systems, and related glazing products.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, structural details, and glazing shop drawings.
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, project schedules, and closeout documentation.
• Familiarity with commercial glazing systems from manufacturers such as Kawneer, Tubelite, Oldcastle Building Envelope (OBE), YKK AP, EFCO, CRL, or comparable systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD, or comparable construction software is a plus.
