Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are looking for a well-rounded MEP Superintendent who leads from the front-someone who treats people with respect, communicates clearly, and builds strong working relationships across the jobsite. You'll need to be a hands-on problem solver who can adapt quickly, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver results.
This role is very field-focused. You'll be responsible for running day-to-day site operations-coordinating subcontractors, keeping work on schedule, managing logistics, and making sure quality and safety standards are met at all times. You'll also play a key role in planning, resolving issues before they escal[ate], and keeping all stakeholders aligned.
What you'll actually be doing:- Running daily site operations - managing trades, sequencing work, and keeping everything moving to schedule
- Owning safety on site - leading from the front and driving a zero-incident culture across all trades
- Managing and updating schedules, adjusting plans when needed to avoid delays
- Reviewing drawings and contracts to proactively catch and solve issues early
- Leading subcontractor meetings, daily huddles, and pre-task planning sessions
- Overseeing site logistics, materials, and coordination across teams
- Tracking progress, maintaining reports, and documenting changes in the field
- Supporting QA/QC processes and ensuring high-quality delivery
- Building strong relationships with owners, subs, and project partners
- Mentoring and developing Field Engineers and junior Superintendents
- 7-12 years' experience with a General Contractor, running $30M+ projects
- Strong field leadership - ideally owning full scopes or major packages
- Proven experience with scheduling, subcontractor management, and jobsite coordination
- Strong safety background (OSHA 30, STS-C preferred)
- Comfortable working across all phases of construction and multiple trades
- Solid technical understanding of construction drawings and documents
- Experience with scheduling and construction software
- Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
