Position OverviewLG Group is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations and construction execution for multifamily, mixed-use, and high-rise residential developments throughout Chicago.
Unlike a traditional general contractor environment, this role offers direct exposure to both development and construction, creating opportunities to collaborate closely with Development, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams from preconstruction through project completion. The Senior Superintendent serves as the primary field leader responsible for site safety, quality, schedule performance, workforce planning, trade partner management, and overall project execution.
This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role within a growing Develop-Build platform, oversee complex construction projects, mentor field teams, and help deliver some of Chicago's most impactful residential developments.

Key Responsibilities- Lead field operations from preconstruction planning through project turnover and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, recovery schedules, site logistics plans, and workforce forecasts
- Lead pull planning sessions and implement Lean Construction principles throughout project execution
- Collaborate with Development, Design, and Preconstruction teams during planning and budgeting phases to optimize constructability and project delivery
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Drive project sequencing and daily field execution to achieve schedule milestones
- Identify schedule constraints, proactively mitigate risks, and implement corrective action plans when necessary
- Oversee site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Monitor quality control processes and ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications
