This role involves providing comprehensive videography coverage for a major industry event, focusing on capturing the energy and key moments of Day 1 at IFT First 2026 in Chicago. The successful candidate will be responsible for filming on-site, producing a dynamic recap video with a quick turnaround, and delivering a polished post-show wrap-up asset that highlights the event’s most impactful moments.

There is also potential for an additional leadership video featuring two employees, subject to confirmation. The position requires a professional who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with the event’s objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Film and document Day 1 of the IFT First 2026 event at McCormick Place, Chicago, on July 12th, 2026
  • Capture key moments, interviews, and the overall atmosphere of the event
  • Edit and deliver a Day 1 recap video with a rapid turnaround
  • Produce a comprehensive post-show wrap-up video summarizing event highlights
  • Potentially create an additional leadership video featuring two employees (pending confirmation)
  • Ensure all footage is of high quality and meets professional standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand content goals and required messaging
  • Manage on-site logistics and equipment setup for optimal coverage
Skills And Requirements
  • Proven experience in event videography and video editing, preferably for trade shows or corporate events
  • Proficiency with professional video equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to create engaging, concise recap videos
  • Ability to work on-site in Chicago on July 12th, 2026, and deliver edited content promptly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with event participants
  • Flexibility to accommodate potential additional deliverables as needed
  • Portfolio of previous event or trade show videography work is highly desirable
