Position will report directly to the Vice President Retail. This is a full-time position with full benefits. Role Overview As the Gallery Director, this candidate will be the driving force to bring the exciting world of Leica to the consumer. This person is expected to drive the Leica Gallery and the associated Leica Store as a destination for photography enthusiasts and serious collectors.

The candidates are tasked to build up revenue streams from gallery sales that include photographic prints, collectible books, photographic books as well as items of collectible value.

• Oversee all art, events, and education operations of the Leica Gallery.
• Manage the organization and installation of exhibitions.
• Develop and implement business models to increase annual sales revenues.
• Select, direct, and develop gallery personnel to ensure operations meet the highest professional standards.
• Serve as a genuine brand ambassador, embodying the Leica spirit.
• Build and maintain VIP relationships with clients and Leica corporate partners.
• Promote the gallery and store through strategic partnerships with Leica and external resources.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory, database management, shipping, consignments, loans, and collateral materials.
• Provide support for other Leica Camera Inc. entities or events as needed.

• 4+ years of experience managing a gallery business with full P&L or bottom-line responsibility.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary and 20th-century art, especially photojournalism and fine art photography.
• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for digital photography and the Leica brand.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, energetic, and positive attitude with strong leadership abilities.
• Goal-oriented and passionate about photography, luxury goods, and cultural engagement.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom.
