Job Overview

Fox News 32 is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, solution‑oriented, and a team player, with flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and overnights. The ability to shoot video is a plus but not required and a willingness to learn other broadcast related skills.

• Create broadcast‑quality content quickly in a live environment with a keen eye for detail.
• Transform raw video into news packages, features, and show opens.
• Develop graphics that enhance the news story.
• Operate efficiently on non‑linear edit platforms like Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
• Prioritize assignments and adhere to deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in non‑linear editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong passion for news.
• Proven news editorial judgment and broadcast experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
• Familiarity with iNews or similar newsroom applications.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with producers.
• Capable of taking direction and working independently.
• Interest and ability in technical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnights.
• Prior news shooting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with editing long‑form content.

Pay rate: $31.00‑48.67 per hour (final offer dependent on education, skills, experience, and location). Benefits include medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
