Model management intern

Fashion Bar Chicago is seeking critical-thinking, strategic, and driven interns to join our Fashion Strategy and Consulting team. This role supports talent sourcing and coordination for fashion branding initiatives across the fashion and apparel industry.

Interns will work closely with Fashion Bar’s leadership and internal teams to help secure, schedule, and manage models for branding campaigns, photoshoots, video productions, runway shows, and Fashion Bar-led fashion events.

This is an accredited internship with the potential for commission‑based opportunities

As a Model Management Intern, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with sourcing and recruiting emerging talent for branding and marketing initiatives within the fashion and beauty industry

Identifying, screening, and contacting prospective models for clients and internal projects

Supporting leadership in aligning talent with lifestyle brands, campaigns, and current fashion trends

Maintaining organized talent files and following up with models for photoshoots, runway shows, and virtual productions

Assisting with scheduling and coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day talent operations

Attending or monitoring local fashion-related events, including high school and college showcases, to identify emerging talent

Evaluating models for potential, diversity, skill, and overall presentation

Assisting with arranging meetings between models and Fashion Bar leadership

Supporting additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Strong interest in fashion, talent development, and brand representation

Ability to identify potential and recognize emerging talent

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and follow‑up skills

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

Passion for inclusion, diversity, and cultural representation in fashion

Professional demeanor and attention to detail

Duration:
One semester or academic quarter

Approximately 20 hours per week

Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic and work commitments

This is an unpaid internship
