Product Designer

Coates Group is a global technology company that enables impactful connections between leading brands and customers through digital hardware, a proprietary content management system, and industry‑leading signage solutions. We are looking for an experienced digital designer to join our creative team and help deliver engaging customer experiences.

• Develop product design concepts from complex sets of requirements.
• Produce high‑quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps.
• Develop solutions to product usability challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering leads to drive solutions.
• Employ design best practices across all deliverables and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Understand the design research process, collaborate with the Product Owner and formalise design research into insights and ideas.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to drive success frameworks and optimise product solutions.

• Keen eye for design detail with a creative flair.
• Exceptional quality and high‑fidelity wire framing skills grounded in strategy and insights.
• Self‑starter; driven and able to act autonomously.
• Reliable partner.

• 5+ years of experience working in a digital design role.
• Experience with UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.
• Excellent working knowledge of design processes, methodologies and principles.
• Strong experience designing artifacts such as information architecture diagrams, archetypes + personas, customer journey maps, user flows, scenarios, wireframes and prototypes, usability testing scripts.
• Portfolio demonstrating beautiful, usable experiences across devices and contexts.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with graphic design and outputting assets for the web.
• Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 and CSS animation.
• Experience with video editing and animation.

$126,000 - $126,000 a year
