Description:
Company is a leading Business Meetings & Events production house.
- Act as the key Technical/Production Manager, overseeing production of trade shows, events, meetings, road shows, mobile tours, and other live events to deliver impactful brand experiences.
- Supervise a team of Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Show Technicians, Freelancers, and Subcontractors; assign projects to Project Engineers who act as project managers.
- Manage 10–15 direct reports and maintain operational excellence across all production phases: lighting, audio, video display, video production, presentations, entertainment, special effects, power, rigging, scenery, carpentry, computer graphics, signal transmission, labor management, venue coordination, travel, touring, and trucking.
- Develop and enforce production processes, manage budgets, prepare quotes, subcontract gear rentals, and coordinate union crews.
- Design, install, and operate multi‑projector blended image events and produce creative event programs that connect audiences and drive results.
- Produce CAD drawings for room layouts and rigging systems, and ensure all technical aspects align with client objectives.
- Maintain a safe driving record and manage travel/logistics for field events.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in live production, with demonstrated management of a department and implementation of new processes.
- Proven experience designing, installing, and operating multi‑projector blended image events.
- Strong expertise with audio, LED, rigging, and CAD drawings of room layouts and rigging systems.
- Track record managing budgets, producing quotes, sub‑renting gear, and working with union crews.
- Strong customer‑service, interpersonal, and communication skills with a professional demeanor and efficient time‑management.
- Minimum of two years college or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: safe driving record, and ability to coordinate large, multi‑phase productions.
Salary range: $100,000 to $125,000, depending on background and experience. Company provides comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
