Are you a strategic writer who understands luxury brands and knows how to bring ambitious positioning to life? Do you love coming up with ideas that tell a brand story in unique and exciting ways?
We're looking for a Project-Based Creative Strategist/Copywriter to work with our team on premium brand positioning projects. You'll be the skilled writer and strategic collaborator who helps translate sophisticated positioning into clear, executable guidelines and ideas that teams actually use to communicate with consumers.
You’ll help translate positioning into messaging and guidelines that work across email, social media, in‑person experiences, and website.
ABOUT RG CREATIVERG Creative is a multidisciplinary consultancy based in New York City. We work with founders and leadership teams on strategic repositioning, brand foundations, and go‑to‑market strategies—particularly in premium and craft categories. Our approach is research‑driven, collaborative, and focused on creating positioning that is authentic and meaningful.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Help develop content pillars and a messaging framework
- Create channel‑specific guidelines (email, social, in‑person, website) that are practical and flexible
- Write sample copy that demonstrates how guidelines work in practice
- Refine messaging based on client feedback and leadership input
- A strong writer with excellent taste
- Collaborative and flexible—comfortable working closely with senior creatives and leadership
- An ideas person
- Someone with a solid understanding of the marketing landscape, particularly where it intersects with luxury
- 7+ years in copywriting or content strategy
- A portfolio showing strategic thinking and impactful writing
- Timeline: ASAP–February 2026
- Scope:
Part‑time contract (~60–80 hours) - Location:
Remote - Potential for ongoing work on future RG Creative projects
Brand positioning only works when the language feels real. Good positioning is so clear and compelling that it becomes how the team naturally talks. You’ll make sure what we build together actually lands—in emails, conversations, social posts, everywhere—not just sitting in a deck somewhere.
