Base Pay Range

$90,000 – $110,000 per year

Are you a storyteller at heart who loves life behind the lens? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, working directly with clients, and bringing powerful stories to life through video? Our client is searching for a high-caliber Video Producer/Director to take the lead on all client video shoots and internal video content creation. If you’re a hands‑on cinematographer, a creative problem solver, and a confident communicator who’s ready to hit the road and create compelling, interview‑driven content — we want to meet you.

This is a full‑time, benefitted position working directly for our client located in Buffalo, New York. Preference will be given to candidates in Buffalo, NY or major East Coast airport hubs such as Atlanta, Boston, Miami, New York and Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities
  • Lead & Elevate Production
    • Direct and film client video shoots across the country (interviews + b‑roll)
    • Manage and improve production workflows from planning through final delivery
    • Oversee internal video content for marketing, training, and brand initiatives
  • Work Hands‑On With Clients
    • Master our proprietary video content framework and interview process
    • Train clients in advance to ensure polished, confident on‑camera performances
    • Lead on‑site shoots, scout locations, and collaborate closely with editors
  • Manage the Gear & the Craft
    • Perfect company‑specific camera systems, lighting setups, and shot standards
    • Coordinate precise equipment packing, shipping, and care
    • Maintain exceptional visual quality using professional shot composition and pacing
  • Create Innovative Content
    • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on digital campaigns
    • Film engaging content with our CEO and team when not traveling
  • Travel
    • Travel required 3–4 days per week by plane and car for on‑site client shoots across the U.S.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years in videography/production — especially directing interview‑style shoots
  • Proven experience producing video content for marketing, campaigns, or branded storytelling
  • Strong communication skills and polished client presence
  • Exceptional eye for timing, pacing, lighting, and composition
  • Ability to take direction, solve problems fast, and work independently
  • Willingness to learn our systems, equipment, and production standards
  • A passion for growth — including emerging video tools, new tech, and AI

Salary Range: $90k – $110k, negotiable depending on experience.
