Master Control Operator What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and control television broadcast equipment
- Monitor television broadcast equipment to transmit television programs and commercials to the viewing audience
- Conduct on‑air switching, dubbing, and transferring programs
- Manage and gather satellite feeds for broadcast use
- Support the production of newscasts and other live or taped programming for television and multi-platform use
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum two years of experience in broadcast or video production
- Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and database software
- Hands‑on experience with television equipment operation, automation systems, and tape and disk‑based video servers
- Working knowledge of satellite controllers, video waveform monitors, vector scopes, master control switching and routing systems
- Proven ability to perform accurately and efficiently under pressure of television operations control
- Developed and displayed responsible work habits with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $20‑$23 per hour, dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
