LIGHTING DESIGNER NEEDED — Open Space Arts
Open Space Arts is looking for a lighting designer for BEFORE WE ARE HISTORY, our fall series examining the early years of the AIDS crisis.
The project includes three programs in our intimate Uptown storefront:
ONE / BLOOD SPILL — Oct. 23–25
ONE by Jeff Hagedorn, directed by Rory Brady, on a double bill with BLOOD SPILL by Lee Raines, directed by Byron Stewart.
JERKER — Oct. 29–Nov. 2 & Nov. 5–8
Created and performed by Joshua Bowen and Jason Bowen.
A QUIET END — Nov. 3
Staged reading of Robin Swados’ play. Director TBA.
We’re looking for someone who can create a flexible lighting design that works across the series, with individual looks and cues for each piece.
Total compensation: $500.
Performances at Open Space Arts, 1411 W. Wilson Ave., Chicago.
