Guest Services Ambassador (GSA)
Seasonal | Part-Time | Hourly Pay
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) is a frontline ambassador for Chicago Stars FC, responsible for delivering exceptional, welcoming, and memorable experiences for all fans, guests, and partners. GSAs play a critical role on matchdays and at select non-matchday events by providing outstanding customer service, supporting accessibility needs, and helping create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable stadium environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Matchday:- Welcome and assist fans at stadium entry points
- Provide clear directions, information, and support throughout the venue
- Assist guests with ADA and accessibility needs
- Monitor seating areas and concourses to ensure a positive guest experience
- Support Kids Club activities and fan engagement activations
- Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for guests
- Assist with issue resolution and elevate concerns as needed
- Check-in and registration desk duties
- Support with other matchday responsibilities as needed
- Represent Chicago Stars FC at off-site events, festivals, and community activations
- Engage with current and potential fans in a professional and enthusiastic manner
- Support additional club events as assigned and available
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong conflict-resolution skills in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality, fan experience, and sports
- Proven dependability, strong accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and matchdays is required
- Ability to stand, walk or be engaged for extended periods of time – accommodations available as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- One Virtual onboarding session
- One-day, in-person training
No prior experience required - all training provided
