About Flyover Attractions
Flyover is an award‑winning immersive flying theatre experience that transports guests through the planet’s most epic places. The attraction utilizes flight‑motion seats engineered to swoop, dip and turn, giving guests a feeling of flight, while a 65‑foot spherical screen provides guests with an unparalleled journey across iconic locations and natural landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, create an unforgettable entertainment experience.
Flyover attractions are located in Chicago, Las Vegas, Reykjavik, Iceland, and Vancouver, Canada.
About the role
As a Guest Experience Guide (GEG), your goal is to facilitate the fun, engaging, efficient and safe movement of guests through the attraction. You may wear multiple hats as a Greeter, Flight Guide, Entry Scanner, and Photographer. Your interactions with guests should anticipate their needs while following Flyover standards and operating procedures. Kindly maintain a positive attitude and a safe environment for all guests and team members.
We are hiring for seasonal part‑time and regular full‑time GEG positions. Wage is $18/hour USD. Additional perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview.
What you'll do DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors; duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
- Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests (experience, price, restrictions, content).
- Capturing guest photos while being knowledgeable about photo packages and backgrounds.
- Organizing large groups into correct queues, calculating and communicating accurate wait‑time information.
- Directing guests around the attraction and assisting them onto iRide gondolas.
- Ensuring all ride and facility safety precautions are met and informing the operator and supervisors of any concerns.
- Leading by example to maintain Flyover Chicago operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards.
- Communicating efficiently using proper radio protocol.
- Assisting with evacuation and shelter‑in‑place procedures during an emergency.
- Sharing knowledge with guests about Navy Pier, Chicago, and other tourist attractions around the venue.
- Other duties as needed.

- Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds as necessary.
- Solid knowledge base about Chicago and the local area.
- Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry an asset.
- Public speaking experience an asset.
- Fluency in a language in addition to English an asset.
