Benefit Counselor

This position educates an organization's union members about the valuable benefit plans available to them and their families and enrolls members using various enrollment systems. Role requires a motivated and dynamic individual to work as a per diem benefit counselor with a select team of individuals. Perspective employees could expect 4-5 days of work per week, dependent on weather and conditions in the Chicago area.

Flexible schedule and the opportunity for paid travel based on business needs. Generous flat daily rate for enrollments and training days.

High school diploma required. Active appropriate state life and health insurance license(s) required.

Basic computer and data entry skills, excellent customer service and communication skills, a willingness to work in a variety of conditions and environments (outdoor tents, transit garages or stations), ability to meet metrics and goals, a self-starter with a willingness to meet people and have fun!
