Customer Service Specialist

Avant Credit is a lender providing personalized loans using machine‑learning technology, operating in 15 U.S. states.

Customer Service Specialists answer inbound calls about account information, loan status, passwords, rates, and application help. Specialists may also handle inbound chats, triage email, and join outbound teams working on special projects.

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service and aim for one‑call resolution.
• Answer customers’ questions about their account before, during, and after the application process.
• Transfer calls to other departments after attempting to assist the customer.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and provide accurate information.
• Use technical troubleshooting skills to guide customers through the loan application.
• Stay updated on changes to processes and procedures.

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• At least one year of customer‑service experience, preferably in a call center.
• Focus on quality and a strong commitment to excellent service.
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong listening skills.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Technical troubleshooting aptitude.

Starting pay ranges from $13.50 to $14.00 per hour (DOE). Benefits include medical, dental, and 2 weeks paid vacation.
