Position: Hourly Ticket Sellers

Hourly Ticket Seller

At the United Center, we believe that people's stories are enhanced by sports, entertainment, and community. Our purpose is to enhance everyone's stories through iconic experiences while at the United Center. In the role as Hourly Ticket Seller, you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus.

General Responsibilities:

Provide all customer service functions such a selling, seat assignments, and responding to customer inquiries and problems.

Specific Duties: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Assign and fill all ticket orders.
  • Handle ticket sales in a friendly but professional fashion.
  • Respond to customers' questions by providing basic information regarding the event, seat location, other upcoming events, etc.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The individual may be required to stand, walk and sit for up to 1/3 of the work shift, and hear for 2/3 or more of the shift. The individual may be required to lift up to 25 pounds for up to 1/3 of the work shift.

Vision requirements: close, color, depth and focusing abilities.

Individual must be able to view a computer screen, read and verify tickets for prolonged periods and lift boxes.

The work environment may include some risk of electrical shock for up to 1/3 of the work shift.

The work environment has a moderate noise level.

Education:

High school diploma or General Education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The pay range for this role is $22.41 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include health and welfare plans, an annuity plan, and other benefits as determined by the union.
